Public transportation 

The TCL network (Transports en Commun de Lyon) provides you with cheap and fast transportation, by bus, tramway, tube or funicular train.
A single ticket costs 1.70 €, and a 10-ticket booklet costs 12.90 € (at student price, valid for students under 28 years of age).
A monthly pass costs 28.10 €, which allows you to travel on the entire TCL network (Lyon and its suburbs).
In comparison, the price of a monthly pass for public transportation in Paris varies from 54.90 € to 123.60 €, depending on the zones you choose to travel in. More information at www.tcl.fr

In addition, you can enjoy the fresh air with Velo’v. This bicycle rental service, free for the first 30 minutes, which provides over 3000 bicycles, is available in over 350 stations in Lyon and Villeurbanne. This is a very popular means of transport, particularly when you want to travel at late hours.

Housing

Rent is included within the tuitions fees. Please refer to the "housing" section to get more info about where you will live while attending your classes in Lyon. 

Food

Lyon is well known for the quality of its food. You will have no difficulties to find what you need in the city.
There are many supermarkets around Lyon as well as markets providing you with fresh food throughout the week. 

EMLYON Business School is equipped with a cafeteria where you will be able to enjoy lunch and socialize with the students.

Leisure

Lyon is a great city to live in. You will have plenty of activities to do during your spare time.

• A ticket to the stadium «Stade the Gerland», home of the Olympique Lyonnais (football team): between 10 € and 25 €
• A ticket to the sports Hall «Astroballe», home of the ASVEL (basketball team): from 7 € to 15 €
