The Official Opening Ceremony of the Global Entrepreneurship Program took place at the beginning of September on EMLYON’s European Campus, marking the start of the students’ journey in the program.
The Global Entrepreneurship Program welcomes international students from many different backgrounds and professional horizons who all share the same objective: build up their entrepreneurial skills on three different continents in order to launch their own business, take over a family business or enter a company and develop new business ventures. The class includes 29 students from 11 different countries: Venezuela, Nicaragua, Myanmar, Indonesia, India, France, Czech Republic, Colombia, China, Canada and the United States.
During their first week at EMLYON Business School, the students got acquainted with their classmates and learning environment and went to visit the Paul Bocuse Institute. Classes started shortly after their arrival and the students are already immersed in the European Business Project, an inherent part of the curriculum of this ground-breaking program.
The first portion of the program taking place on EMLYON’s European Campus will end in November and the students will travel to Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, and Purdue University in West Lafayette, USA for the second and third part of the program.
We wish all the best to the students for their future endeavours in the program.
