As part of the International Business Regulatory Organisations courses, participants of the International MBA went on a one-day trip to Geneva and visited the World Trade Organisation headquarters and the United Nations Office.
Tim Callagy (2012-2013 MBA participant) from Ireland shares with us his experience of the Geneva Trip!
“The trip to Geneva was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get inside some of the world's most important institutions and to learn how they function. Our first stop was the WTO where we had a fascinating two-hour long discussion with the United States deputy trade representative, and other important WTO figures. This was followed by a tour inside the Geneva UN building, and a visit to the US mission where we discussed the diplomatic issues of the day. In each venue, the conversation was candid and no questions were off limits. We finished off the day with a walking tour of the historic city centre and Swiss fondue in one of Geneva's best restaurants".
