The MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing is structured around two semesters in Paris and Shanghai (attended by the whole cohort) and a particular semester where you will choose a distinctive track allowing you to study the Fashion and Lifestyle Industry in London or the Luxury Design Industry in New York City:

  • 1st academic semester October to December 2017: emlyon business school – Paris campus (for the entire cohort)
  • 2nd academic semester:

*Track 1 :
 January 2018: emlyon business school – Paris campus

February and March 2018: London College of Fashion – London, UK

*Track 2 :
 January to March 2018: Parsons School of Design at the New School – New York City, USA (subject to available places)  

  • 3rd academic semester April to June 2018:  emlyon business school – Shanghai campus (for the entire cohort)

 - Program dates are subject to change.
 - There are only a limited number of spots available to attend courses at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Selection criteria will be communicated once you have started the online application process.

Acquire the Fundamentals of Management

Students in the program will first follow a core syllabus aimed at the acquisition of fundamentals, a thorough knowledge of which is necessary to tackle the specialization. During this period, students will also learn to work in groups and to improve the quality of relationships within a team, thanks to real-life situations and simulation games.

As an expert in the luxury industry, Michel Phan has extensive international experience across all sectors (leather goods, perfumes and cosmetics, fashion and accesories, selective distribution and retailing, wines and spirits...). He has a strong experience in consulting and a strong professional network with prestigious companies such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Parfums Guerlain, Estee Lauder EMEA etc... Today M. Phan is the Program Director of the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing, Director of Lifestyles and Consumption Cluster at emlyon business school and Chief Editor of Luxury Research Journal. Michel Phan was also an advisor with UNESCO on creativity.
