The high profiles of the Luxury Industry at EMLYON Business School

This Luxury Careers Week included Conferences, Corporate Discovery Sessions, Discussions, Recruitment Sessions, a special “Professions in Luxury” Expert Panel and a conference organised by the Luxury Club of Alumni Network EMLYON FOREVER.

The first day was dedicated to Chanel. The Luxury Company started off with a presentation about the Retail and Finance job lines according to Chanel prestige as well as a Chanel Discovery Session which included a presentation of the world of Chanel and a discussion between the students and HR representatives. At the end of the day, students had one-on-one recruitment meetings with Chanel representatives.

Fred & Farid also came to campus and gave a conference on the topic “Integrated Communication Of Luxury Brands”. They also had lunch with pre-selected students followed by individual recruitment interviews.

Worl-renowned companies such as Coty and Sisley Cosmetics also organised special Discovery Sessions to help students understand the mission and values of the companies. EMLYON International MBA alumnus Caroline Lataste working for Coty and Yann Masson, MSc in Management alumnus, who is now part of Sisley Cosmetics, both came to talk to the students about their career paths.

The last day of the Luxury Careers Week included an Expert Panel dedicated to “Professions in the Luxury Industry” as well as a special Round Table organised by the Luxury Club of EMLYON FOREVER.

During the “Professions in the Luxury Industry” Expert Panel, programme alumni such as Anna-Gaëlle BOSCHETTI, Leather goods Product Manager at Christian Dior Couture, Thomas ZIMMERMANN, Entrepreneur and former Managing Director for Asia at Fauchon, Jeanne-Marie DESNOS, Client Marketing and Market Insight Junior Manager at Louis Vuitton, and Yann MASSON, Central & North Europe Export Director at Sisley Cosmetics, gathered to share their professional experience in the Luxury Industry.

The Round Table organised by EMLYON FOREVER was centered around the topic “How to Manage a Career in the Luxury Industry” and included programme alumni Albert BENSOUSSAN, former Director of Louis Vuitton Watches & Jewelry, Florence BRACHET, who manages Sponsorship at Galeries Lafayette, and Nataly FERRAND who is part of the prestigious group Hermès.

Each year, the Luxury Careers Week is a big success as many students from various EMLYON Business School programmes get to meet high-end companies of the Luxury Industry and start planning their future career.
