The In-Company Project is a key module and a true stepping-stone for students of the programme, before they start their end of the year internship. While they gain first-hand experience of how to build a tangible project, they also learn how to develop a professional network as well as improve their interpersonal skills. The In-Company Business Project builds teamwork capabilities within an international cohort, strengthening intercultural skills. Also, due to the fact that the projects take place in Shanghai, this is also the perfect opportunity to gain professional experience and an understanding of the Asian market, a key region for the global sports and outdoor industry.
The In-Company projects focus on different topics including supporting the development of the market strategy of companies in Asia, building qualitative market research on consumers, helping companies with their strategic plans for expansion, and other research-based projects. Decathlon, Oakley, Puma, Salomon, SGI Europe, EDM Publications and Fred & Farid Shanghai are among the international companies students have had the opoprtunity to work with as part of these In-company Projects.
