The Curriculum

Taking place in three different locations Lyon, The Alps, and Shanghai, the programme is structured for you to discover three key business environments. You will develop a broad view of the global sports industry in France and China, acquire the necessary specialist knowledge in a hands-on intercultural environment and meet top industry players throughout the programme.

Mastering the Basics and Initiation to the Industry

You will first follow a core course module at EMLYON helping you acquire the fundamentals of international management, which forms the basis of your future profession. During this period, you will also learn how to work best in teams and how to improve the quality of relationships within a team, thanks to real-life situations and simulation games.  

Fundamental management courses include: Macro Economics for Manager |Financial Analysis | Market Intelligence | International Contracts in a global economy | Fundamentals of Marketing

To successfully navigate the variety of business models that make the sport industry so unique you’ll also need entrepreneurial and management skills, which EMLYON is known to provide.

Developing a broad view of the Sports Industry

Following the fundamentals, you will start to learn how to apply management knowledge specifically to the Sports Industry. Courses include:

  • Consumer behaviour in sports
  • Sports law
  • Supply chain and logistics in sports
  • Entrepreneurship in sports
  • B2C Tool Box
  • Sports marketing & sponsorship
  • Market, marketing and retail specifics in Asia
  • Asian business environment
  • Workshops, company visits and business projects in France and China
