MSc in Sports students are now following more industry-specific courses with the unique opportunity to meet sports and outdoor professionals. As part of the module on Retailing, students were introduced to Franz Julen, CEO IIC-INTERSPORT, a successful entrepreneur and a sportsman himself. He presented to the class the strategy of IIC-INTERSPORT and shared his overall experience as an entrepreneur. Students were enthusiastic to learn how the company was set-up and how it operates today.
Other guest lecturers for this particular module included the Owner and Marketing Manager of Snowleader.com, the Head of digital marketing and ecommerce at Salomon and the EMEA Retail Director of Oakley. They were all pleased to share their passion and experience with the students.
The module ended with a Retailing Tour in Chamonix where we collected the students' feedbacks:
