Master's students currently enrolled in the MSc in Sports and Outdoor Industry Management, have finally arrived in Annecy after spending the first three months of their program on the EMLYON Business School campus.
During this quarter in Annecy 100% of the coursework will focus on the sports and outdoor industry, following a first quarter during which 80% of coursework covered general management and business, with 20% being an introduction to the worldwide sports market. A number of top managers from our industry will be teaching classes this quarter, providing students with invaluable experience and a direct link to the market.
During their first day in Annecy on Monday, January 7, the enthusiastic group of students had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Antoine Dénériaz, OSV member, who gave a presentation on his career as a world class athlete, his educational training following his career in sports – he recently graduated from the top ESSEC business school, as well as his transition to a career as an entrepreneur by talking about the launch of his very own brand of outdoor products.
Following seven months and two quarters of coursework in the Rhône-Alpes region, these students will take off for a final sixteen week quarter in Shanghai, China, before finishing their studies with a 4 to 9 month internship.
