The 33rd annual Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC), co-sponsored by EMLYON Business School and Babson College, will be held from June 5th to the 8th at the Palais des Congrès in Lyon, France.
The BCERC established in 1981 and widely considered the premier conference for entrepreneurship research, aims to provide a dynamic venue where academics and real-world practitioners link theory and practice as well as to encourage and increase quality research in entrepreneurship. Over 313 researchers from 30 countries will present papers during the conference.
Hosted in conjunction with the BCERC since 1985, Babson College will also hold the 2013 BCERC Doctoral Consortium Programme. The Doctoral Consortium provides doctoral students with the opportunity to gain insight into current research issues through intense interaction with consortium faculty, and seeks to encourage scholars and educators to become leaders in the field of entrepreneurship education.
On Friday evening, June 7th, The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Stevens Institute of Technology will present the Best Paper Awards for the 2012 issue of Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research. Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research is the most comprehensive collection of empirical research papers on entrepreneurship, representing institutions from around the globe.
