300 Business School Deans & Directors, from over 44 countries, gathered at EMLYON at the end of January for the EFMD’s annual meeting. During two days of workshops and meetings, the deans and directors discussed the current issues affecting international business schools.
The conference focused on the challenges that Business Schools are facing across the world. It was also an opportunity to discuss the latest accreditations given by the EFMD.
EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) is the main European certifying body of business schools. It awards the EQUIS accreditation (European Quality Improvement System) and the EPAS accreditation (European Programme Accreditation System) to management and business schools. An EFMD accreditation today represents an international quality standard which distinguishes the leading business schools.
EMLYON Business School has held the EQUIS accreditation since 1988.
