On April 18th EMLYON Business School organised a special Entrepreneur’s Day which united the entrepreneurial community of Lyon and its surroundings. This event was supported by KPMG and was part of one of INELSE and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research’s projects.
With more than 500 participants including students, entrepreneurs, partners and speakers, this special day aimed at fostering discussion and networking thanks to the « village of entrepreneurs », the practical and educational workshops as well as the special contest during which twelve projects were presented and three were rewarded. The awards included the “Grand Prix of the Entrepreneur”, “the Creativity Award” and the “Coup de Coeur Award”.
The guest of honour, Stéphane Treppoz, President of the Board of Directors of Sarenza, oversaw the jury of the afternoon contest and gave fifteen useful advice to the future entrepreneurs.
Stéphane Treppoz also participated in the conference “Learning from Entrepreneurs” along with Véronique Garnodier, President of Charlott’, Françoise Nyssen, Director of publishing house Actes Sud, and Philippe Oddou, Founder and President of Sport dans la Ville. This round-table was introduced by Bruno Bonnell, President of EMLYON Business School’s Board of Directors, and hosted by Michel Coster, Director of the Incubator of EMYLON.
