Created by EMLYON Business School, KPMG France, the Singapore institution Action Community for Entrepreneurship, Nanyang Technological University, Greater Lyon, the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Zhejiang University in China, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is the first worldwide forum devoted to entrepreneurs, creators of wealth and social justice.
It aims at finding entrepreneurial solutions to our world’s problems, promotes the entrepreneurial spirit, embraces the entrepreneurial ecosystem and is altogether an international Think and Do Tank.
This year’s edition of the World Entrepreneurship Forum will take place in Singapore from October 30th to November 2nd 2013.
Selected for their entrepreneurial achievements and commitment to society in their respective countries, the members (80% of whom are business or social entrepreneurs and 20% policy-makers, experts and academics) will brainstorm on the topic “ENTREPRENEURS: Navigating change for sustainable growth”. From open debates to specific workshops, think-tank sessions and an award ceremony rewarding five international figures during a gala dinner attended by Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Singapore, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is a fascinating four-day event for young and experimented entrepreneurs.
EMLYON’s position as a founding member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum is a true reflection of the institution’s motto “Educating entrepreneurs for the world” and perfectly in line with EMLYON’s programmes honing experiential and entrepreneurial learning methodologies.
