Michel Phan brings his expertise on the Asian Luxury Industry to the table

Michel Phan, the Programme Director of the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing and Associate Professor of Luxury Marketing at EMLYON Business School, attends many symposiums on the subject of the Luxury Industry in Asia and he has recently been interviewed in different magazines to talk about his expertise on the subject matter.

On May 25th, Professor Michel Phan attended the “2013 Korean Scholars of Marketing Science Spring International Conference” where he presented one of his research papers entitled “Luxury Marketing in China.”  He also participated in the “2013 Global Luxury Brand Management Forum” organised by the “Global Alliance of Marketing & Management Associations” on May 27th in South Korea and gave an insightful lecture on “Chinese Luxury Brands.”

Furthermore, as the first speaker of “Regards de Shanghai”, a think-tank founded by young French people living in Shanghai, Michel Phan gave a speech on June 4th on the subject: “The Emergence of Chinese Luxury Brands”.

He has also been interviewed by high-end luxury and business magazines. Among others, Professor Phan was interviewed by French Business Magazine “Management”, back in April, and he was recently interviewed by “Fashion Night” during his stay in South Korea where he talked about the development of Korean luxury brands.
