One step into the Luxury Industry for International MBA participants

The motto of EMLYON's International MBA is to match participants' needs as well as provide them with the tools recruiters expect from an International MBA graduate.

This year, participants benefit from contextual tracks. The idea is for participants to reach the goals they have set up for themselves and go beyond their initial professional ambitions.

As part of the Luxury Business Track, 5 participants of the International MBA went to Paris to visit LVMH headquarters where they had the opportunity:

  • to meet with LVMH Communications Director
  • to attend round Tables on Retail and presentation of the Group’s métiers and career opportunities

Here is what one of the participants says about this "One Day in Paris" :

"Having a chance to meet not only the HR representatives from one of the most renown luxury companies in the world but also the Director of Communication of LVMH, was a great honor. The individual approach each representative took along with the fact that we were able to question all parts of the LVMH business model was a unique opportunity. The way we were received at LVMH headquarters made me feel proud to be part of EMLYON Business school.

What I like about luxury industry is that it is so dynamic, so international, and makes you feel quite special. When you think of the mobility a career in the luxury industry offers you, limits do not exist - you are a citizen of the world. The Day in Paris offered me a chance to evaluate my previous experience at LVMH and get an insight from the HR representatives. It is important and very valuable to see what it is they are looking for in future employees. I hope to be part of such a motivating and remarkable company." - Daniela Bercek from Serbia, current International MBA participant and former Professional Tennis Player
