On April 17th students and alumni attended the EMLYON Gala. The evening started off with a conference by Marc Lièvremont, former rugby player of the French National Rugby Team and Vice Champion in 2009 as a rugby player and in 2011 as head coach of the French National Rugby Team.
The renowned rugby player talked about how rugby is a model for a company. During an hour, students and alumni of EMLYON Business School listened to this unique speaker and his particular approach to company management via an international sport which requires a high level of discipline and communication.
After retiring as a rugby player, Marc Lièvremont turned to coaching at US Dax and became the new head coach of the French national side after the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Today Marc Lièvremont takes time to talk about his passion and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with the students and alumni of EMLYON Business School.
After the conference, everyone shared a cocktail and a nice gastronomic dinner prepared by Philippe Gauvreau, a French Chef with two stars in the Michelin Guide.
