In-Company Projects of the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing students in Shanghai

Combining  an academic know-how to practical experience is essential for the students of the programme. This is why, while attending courses in Shanghai and along with a team of three other classmates, they develop an in-company project for a sponsor company.

The business project is a key module and a true stepping-stone for them before moving on to their end of the year internship. While they gain first-hand experience of how to build a tangible project, they also learn how to develop a professional network as well as professional and interpersonal skills.  The In-Company Business Project is about teamwork and thanks to the international cohort and the fact that the projects take place in Shanghai, this is also the perfect opportunity to build up on intercultural skills and get a good sense of the Asian market of the luxury industry.

This year, the students of the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing are developing In-Company Projects at:

  • Manufacture Roger Dubuis: focusing on the company’s CRM in China
  • Miu Miu China: establishing benchmarks and developing a strategy and implementation proposal
  • Philippe Hurel: developing a marketing plan to build brand awareness and creating a business plan for a new store
  • Skyword: based on market segment analysis
  • Cartier: analysing how to grab market share of the men’s market in China
  • Atelier du Sartel: developing a market survey and strategy in China
