François Florent founded the school in 1967. Man of the theater and avant-garde teacher, he developped an innovative approach to teach scenic arts. Fifty years later, the Cours Florent is the 1rst Theater and Cinema school in France, and never stops reinventing itself. Currently directed by Simone Strickner, it continues to evolve to form the artists of tomorrow.
