  • Events: Over 30 events and conferences are organized every year by our Career Services Department to help our students network with prospective companies in all types of sectors and job prospects.

 

  • Links with companies: Over 200 companies visit emlyon business school campuses each year and provide students with continuous access to the business community.

Sales is a diverse field, offering various career paths suitable for different personalities, types of companies, sectors, and countries. Students will have the opportunity to choose a career aligned with their aspirations in the sales domain.

 

For those interested in interacting with international clients, they will learn to master the language of their clients, establish a relationship of trust (C-level intimacy), engage in consultative selling to provide solutions to their clients' existing or potential issues (trusted advisor), and become the preferred partner in a long-term relationship within the sales profession.

 

Those inclined to influence customer engagement can design the go-to-market strategy, choose and oversee the implementation of Web technology or AI tools to optimize business, thereby specializing in sales engagement. If they wish to serve as a "sales facilitator" interface for the company's internal and external stakeholders, training and coaching sales teams to improve their performance, they may find their niche in sales enablement. For individuals with an affinity for numbers and statistics, specializing in sales operations might be the right fit. Those drawn to functions related to team and project management, as well as innovation around business models, may pursue a career as a sales leader.
